About Soltera Money

Soltera Money is for women who earn good money but still feel stuck, uncertain, or behind financially.

We believe real financial progress starts with clarity. When you understand how your money is set up, how it moves through your life, and what truly matters to you, better decisions become easier to make. Goals feel more grounded. And money starts working in the service of your life instead of running the show.

To help you get unstuck, we take the time to understand your complete financial picture and your unique money story. Then we combine practical planning with thoughtful guidance to build personalized financial plans and deliver coaching that aligns with your values, goals, and real-life capacity.

Our approach goes beyond spreadsheets. We look at both the practical and the human sides of money. Especially the habits, patterns, and beliefs that influence how money is used day to day. This is what makes change sustainable, not just aspirational.

Financial independence is a cornerstone of women's empowerment. And that confidence, self-trust, and capability with money are just as necessary as the numbers themselves.

Our goal is simple: to help you build a financial life that feels supportive, aligned, and sustainable — and to get you firmly into your Good with Money era.

Hi, I'm Lise!

(pronounced like 'please' without the 'p')

I'm live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and I’m a planning and money enthusiast.

Before I started Soltera Money I spent most of my career in interior design and corporate real estate. My job was to listen closely to my clients, figure out what they actually needed, and design plans and strategies that worked within real constraints. I became a master at budgets, timelines, priorities, and trade-offs. I got really good at turning complex, human realities into something functional and sustainable.

That work shaped the planner in me.

At some point, I also got curious about money. Mostly because I had to. But also because I wanted a better life.

I didn’t always manage money well. I earned, spent, avoided, stressed, and tried to be “better” financially without really understanding what was driving my erratic spending behaviours.

I didn’t change because I suddenly built discipline or found a perfect system. I changed because I committed to learning about money, understanding how it worked, figuring out how to set it up, paying attention regularly, staying consistent with my plans, and giving money a clear purpose in supporting the life I wanted.

Once my money had structure and direction, and I could pinpoint and adjust my patterns, progress started to come more naturally.

And friends and family started hitting me up with questions. How to get organized. What to focus on. The reason they felt stuck despite earning good money. How to stop spinning and start moving forward. I gave them guidance, and they listened and implemented it.

Eventually, I felt the pull to do the work I do now.

Today, I’m a Certified Practitioner in the Trauma of Money Method™ and a candidate for the Certified Financial Counselor™ designation.

These credentials allow me to bring together practical financial planning, strategic thinking, and a deep respect for the fact that there’s a real human element behind most money decisions.

But Soltera Money isn’t about me. It’s about YOU. My mission is to propel you forward so you can make your mark on the world. And use your money to do it. My story and expertise shape my work, but they're not the point. The point is to create a space, a framework, and a movement that belong to women like you.

Where you can take charge of your money, claim your agency, and build a life of freedom and impact.

Let Soltera Money be your launchpad.
